About

Winnie is a celebrant, counsellor and supervisor who lives in Wellington, New Zealand. She absolutely enjoys being a part of people's lives when they are planning an event such as a wedding, a life celebration, a naming or any transition in their lives.

Winnie has been a secondary school teacher and counsellor, has worked as an infertility counsellor, runs a private counselling and supervision practice, and balances all of this with her celebrancy role. She is delighted to be helping others to learn about the craft of celebrancy as a lecturer at the Celebrant School. She has two wonderful children who are now young people making their way in the world, a fabulous husband who supports her in her work and encourages her to explore the world, and she has supported her parents in their final years.

Relaxation is found in creative past-times especially, - quilting, sewing, stitching, and other textile art- as well as getting outdoors walking, running, tramping, gardening and travelling.

Relationships are the key for Winnie- and her warm, caring and compassionate nature make her well suited to her various roles.
